Who doesn’t want to look good? Who doesn’t want a Chiseled body with clear outlines and muscles? Who doesn’t want to look great in their clothes? And above all who don’t want to feel good about themselves.
If you cannot lose weight during this lockdown you can never do so.
Why this is the best time to focus on your health.
Because this is probably the longest that most of us are staying at home. And maybe because everyone is doing that. Yeah including me.
Many of you might argue that how can I? I need a trainer, I need clothes, shoes, etc. And the best excuse that they don’t have time.
Seriously? You got time to eat, sleep, watch Netflix and you don’t have half an hour for your health.
So how and where to start?
Here are some ideas about what you can do to keep yourself fit:
Dance: If at any point of time you ever wanted to dance, this is the time. Lock your room and play your favorite song and start.
Yoga: Well you can practice it now.
- Push-Ups and Pullups: No equipment required. The best and the most basic exercises.
- Bench Dips: Use any bench or table or bedside or anything alike.
- Skipping: All of you must be having one or just buy one or make one at your home. (use Youtube)
- Cardio: Google it and you’ll find hundreds of exercises to choose from according to your fitness level.
On the basis of fitness level, you can choose to do from the following.
Just Move. Don’t sit on the couch all day thinking and procrastinating about losing your belly. It’s still there and you cannot get rid of it until you do something about it.
Stand and do some pushups if you know how to do, walk around, jump, skip just do anything to sweat, and keep your heart rate up.
You can also watch a youtube video or just google for some basic exercises and try to do that.
You all must have gone to gyms at some or other point in your life or been in some sports or physical activity. So look around the house and see what all users can use as weights. Order dumbells if you need to, it hardly costs you anything.
If you belong to this category probably you are already doing it right. Keep it up. Use google and you’ll find the toughest workout regime ever.
The simple point is DO SOMETHING.JUST MOVE.
And lastly, You don’t want to do it for a week or a month. So enjoy the process. Don’t be harsh on yourself. Don’t exhaust yourself.
Don’t panic, don’t make imaginary goals. Don’t overdo it. You might end up hurting yourself.
Fitness is not a goal or a destination, it is the journey. Take it slow, don’t rush. Make it your lifestyle. Feel the change in body and mood. You’ll love the feeling. Happy Working out.
