The JAMB Profile Code (also called ECF PIN — e-Profile Confirmation PIN) is a unique identifier assigned to each candidate during the JAMB UTME registration process. The profile code is generated when a candidate creates their JAMB profile using their National Identification Number (NIN).
The profile code serves as the candidate's unique identifier in the JAMB system and is used for:
- Accessing JAMB services (registration, results, admission status)Retrieving JAMB resultsChecking admission statusPrinting examination documents
How to Create Your JAMB Profile
The JAMB profile can be created through two methods:
Method 1: SMS (USSD)
1. Send your NIN to 55019 via SMS
- Format: NIN [space] [your 11-digit NIN]
- Example: NIN 12345678901
2. Receive your profile code and confirmation via SMS
3. Note your email address — JAMB will send a confirmation link
Method 2: Online Portal
1. Visit jamb.gov.ng
2. Click on "eFacility" → "Create Account / Profile"
3. Enter your NIN and other required details
4. Verify your email address
5. Profile is created with a unique profile code

"Profile code not working": Ensure you have paid for and obtained the ePIN through an approved bank or payment channel.
