HiKorea is South KoreaΓÇÖs official online immigration service. Visa and residence procedures depend on status, purpose, address, employer, and nationality. Before starting, read the current notice and confirm whether your request is an extension, change of status, workplace report, address update, or another service.

Prepare before the deadline

Keep your passport, residence card, contract or enrolment proof, address information, photographs, and other status-specific documents ready. The live instructions determine which originals, copies, translations, or appointments are required. Start early enough to resolve a missing document; an online reservation is not approval.

Online and in-person steps

Use the official login, complete the form, pay only through the displayed channel, and save the application number. If an appointment is required, print the reservation and attend the designated office with originals. Check the resulting document for the correct expiry date and status.

Urgent caveat

Do not overstay because an agent says an application is ΓÇ£in process.ΓÇ¥ Contact the immigration contact centre or office through official details if timing is unclear. Never give a broker your password, OTP, or passport without a documented authorised reason.
