Thailand Thai University Central Admission (TCAS): Round Planning and Official Rules

The Thai University Central Admission System (TCAS) portal publishes the cycle calendar, registration, rules, and announcements. Universities define programme conditions within the TCAS framework. Round names, score components, portfolios, interviews, and confirmation steps must be checked for the current year.

Make a course matrix

For every programme, record required GPAX or subjects, TGAT/TPAT or A-Level components where applicable, portfolio format, interview, fees, and confirmation date. Use the universityΓÇÖs official announcement to explain details that the central portal does not contain.

Submission and confirmation

Register on myTCAS, verify personal and school data, upload files in the specified format, and save each application receipt. If selected, follow the confirmation or clearing-house instruction by the deadline. Missing confirmation can have consequences stated in the rules.

Common mistakes

Do not rely on an old score calculator, assume every round uses the same weighting, or pay a person to ΓÇ£reserveΓÇ¥ a seat. Admission and later enrolment are separate steps. Recheck myTCAS and the university page before submitting preferences.
